Abstract

This panel deals with different forms and issues of macro-scale regionalism. It aims at comparing the case of the European supranational regionalism with other cases on other areas : Asean, Mercosur, Africa, Mediterranean. This question is approached with various topics such as diffusion of EU regionalism norms and models, decentralized cooperation, EU neighbourhood policy. The panel will be the opportunity to apprehend, appraise and discuss the interplay between the European regionalism and the development of supranational regional organisations in other parts of the world.
