Aalborg University (AAU) is a public university in Denmark known for its strong emphasis on problem-based learning and project-oriented education. Founded in 1974, AAU has grown to be a leading research and teaching institution, offering a wide range of programs across various fields like humanities, social sciences, engineering, and medicine.

Aarhus University is a public research university with its main campus located in Aarhus, Denmark. It is the second largest and second oldest university in Denmark. The university is part of the Coimbra Group, the Guild, and Utrecht Network of European universities and is a member of the European University Association.

Åbo Akademi University, Finland is the only exclusively Swedish language multi-faculty university in Finland (or anywhere outside Sweden). It is located mainly in Turku (Åbo is the Swedish name of the city) but has also activities in Vaasa. Åbo Akademi should not be confused with the Royal Academy of Åbo, which was founded in 1640, but moved to Helsinki after the Turku fire of 1827 and is today known as the University of Helsinki.

Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań is the major academic institution in Poznań and one of the top Polish universities. The University currently employs nearly 3,000 teaching staff, including 371 tenured professors and other professors with title, 1407 assistant professors, 369 senior lecturers and lecturers and over 2200 nonacademic employees. The Faculty of Political Science and Journalism (FPSJ) is one of the 20 faculties at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. At present the Faculty has over 3,600 students divided into four majors: Political Science, International Relations, Journalism and Social Communication, and National Security (started in October 2011). The Faculty employs 98 researchers and lecturers. Many specialist classes are run by members of various editorial offices, representatives of the authorities and employees of public institutions. Every year the Faculty organizes approximately 10 international and national scholarly conferences. It issues three national scholarly periodicals: Przegląd Politologiczny [Political Science Review]; Środkowoeuropejskie Studia Polityczne [Central European Political Studies], and Rocznik Integracji Europejskiej [The Yearbook of European Integration], Studia Strategiczne [Strategic studies].

Ashkelon Academic College is a public college in Ashkelon, Israel. The college has two faculties, the School of Economics and Social Work, for management, logistics, banking, and accounting, in which undergraduate and graduate studies take place, as well as the School of Health Sciences, for undergraduate studies in nutrition, nursing, and public health. The college provides programs in undergraduate studies in the fields of politics and government, computer science, sociology and anthropology, psychology, criminology, Land of Israel studies, tourism and multidisciplinary studies in the social sciences.

Aston University is a ‘dual intensive’ University, which values excellence in education and research equally. Research at the Department of Politics, History and International Relations focuses on European and Asian politics and international relations. Concretely, we have expertise in the following areas: migration and refugees, foreign aid and development, federalism and decentralization, critical security studies, gender, political populism, political parties, interest groups, religion and politics, social democracy, international organisations, international law, and foreign policy. The Department hosts the Aston Centre for Europe and the Centre for Migration and Forced Displacement.

The Australian National University (ANU) is a public research university and member of the Group of Eight, located in Canberra, the capital of Australia. Its main campus in Acton encompasses seven teaching and research colleges, in addition to several national academies and institutes. Established in 1946, ANU is the only university to have been created by the Parliament of Australia. It traces its origins to Canberra University College, which was established in 1929 and was integrated into ANU in 1960. ANU enrols 13,329 undergraduate and 11,021 postgraduate students and employs 4,517 staff.

Bar-Ilan University is a public research university in the Tel Aviv District city of Ramat Gan, Israel. Established in 1955, Bar Ilan is Israel's second-largest academic institution. It has 20,000 students and 1,350 faculty members.

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is a public research university in Beersheba, Israel. Named after Israeli national founder David Ben-Gurion, the university was founded in 1969 and currently has five campuses: three in Beersheba, one in Sede Boqer and one in Eilat. Ben-Gurion University has about 20,000 students.

Political science in Bielefeld is traditionally embedded in the Faculty of Sociology. This organizational embedding is also expressed in a strong sociological orientation of political science research and teaching. Bielefeld offers specialized undergraduate and graduate programmes in political science. Moreover, political science forms an integral part of the undergraduate programme in social sciences, in some specialized graduate studies, and in the structured doctoral degree programmes of the Faculty. Disciplinary fields within political science represented by professorships are International Relations, Comparative Politics, Public Policy, Political Theory, European Studies, Political Sociology, and Global Social Policy. In addition to a strong sociological orientation, there also exists a long tradition of studying political processes in a global context, most notably in the Faculty’s interdisciplinary Institute for World Society Studies.

Bilkent University was founded on October 20, 1984 by İhsan Doğramacı (1915 – 2010) through the joint resolution of the İhsan Doğramacı Education Foundation, the İhsan Doğramacı Science and Research Foundation, and the İhsan Doğramacı Health Foundation. The aim was to create a center of excellence in higher education and research. The name “Bilkent” exemplifies the founder’s aim, since it is an acronym of bilim kenti Turkish for “city of science and knowledge.” The university is located in Turkey’s capital city of Ankara.
