Our two research-focused events provide invaluable opportunities to both share and hear the best new work in your field.
Our Joint Sessions of Workshops is a unique format event, bringing together c.30 parallel workshops on different subjects over five days. This intensive and focused environment creates a level of feedback and development not achievable in the traditional conference format. Bringing together scholars from across institutions and geographies who are all working on a common theme also creates networks that often lead to deeper collaborations, longer term research projects and publications.
Our General Conference follows the traditional Panel format, and with over 2,000 participants each year has become the largest political science conference in Europe. The academic timetable is complemented by a rich and engaging programme of lectures, roundtables, focus groups and receptions, providing many opportunities for networking.
Shape the academic programme by chairing a Section or Panel, or simply present your new research.
Take part in a workshop to hone your latest research or put together a proposal to direct one.
