Abstract

This panel seeks to bring together scholars and researchers on the field of Islamist politics and Islamist thought who focus on topics, concepts and methodologies that enrich our knowledge and understanding of the multiple dimensions and trends with the Islamic movement in the Muslim world. The panel will host papers that are grounded on empirical or theoretical pillars, and shed light on unexplored or to an important degree unknown ideas, concepts and debates that have stemmed from the Islamic movement or are closely related with the intellectual and ideological quests within it, in different countries and parts of the Muslim world.
