This panel discusses recent developments in macroeconomic policy-making in the EU, including the NextGenerationEU, the European Semester, Green policies and sustainability considerations. It examines the differences among member states as well as at the EU level to examine implications of these policies for a range of stakeholders including the gendered and racialized inequalities they imply. Papers also examine how global goals, such as the sustainable development goals impact EU level policies. Research results draw on a range of methodological approaches, including document analysis and semi-structured interviews with key policy actors.
