This Section is for contributions that elaborate on the meaning of the term 'excellence' in the context of classes for international students and mixed groups of home and international students. It is our hope to stir discussion on issues such as:
- Do we need to design and facilitate the learning of international students differently than when we prepare for a regular class?
- Do international students have specific needs when compared with their home peers?
- Are there any best practices in teaching international students?
- Should institutions offer specific support to teachers teaching international students?
- Should excellent teaching for international students be recognised and are any institutions doing that?
