In this paper I analyze the effects of the electoral quota introduced in 2007 in Spain in a quantitative and in a "qualitative" way: I analyze the impact of the quota in the number of female MPs elected in the national Legislature and in the 17 Regional ones, before and after the quota was introduced. I will analyze as well the positions female MPs get in the 18 Legislatures governing bodies and to what committees they are asigned to, differentiating "soft/weak" and "hard/strong" committees. It will allow to have a in deeph picture of the real impact the legal quota had in several domains of the Spanish Legislatures.
