In this paper I try to deal with several dimensions of representation and how citizens and MPs understand or exert it. This topic is quite relevant now a days in Spain, after a lot of criticism arrouse in the streets against institutional politicians, political parties and Parliamentary representatives ("they do not represent us anymore"). A big part of the population understands politicians are one of the most relevant problems for the country. This is the starting point fot the paper, where several dimensions of representation and the relationship between citizens and MPs will be checked. The paper aims to compare the way citizens and representatives understand representation, and whether there is a mismatch between them.
