In my contribution to the roundtable “Approaching Contemporary Policy Changes with Policy Process Frameworks,” I will will address the conceptual, theoretical, methodological and empirical issues related to the study of policy change caused by current serious challenges (climate change, populism, migration, security, etc.) from the perspective of the Advocacy Coalition Framework. I will also discuss related issues and insights concerning overlaps with other frameworks.
