European Union has since 2001 and the publication of the White paper on Youth specific European Youth Policy. One of the main goals is to involve young people for European and Youth issues and to strengthen thus Youth participation in democratic life of Europe, as it was stated later in the Lisbon Treaty as well. Since 2005 EU mentioned at first the term Structured Dialogue with Youth and Youth organisations. Since the renewed Framework of Cooperation from 2009 has the process of the Structured Dialogue also more tangible Framework and involves regularly thousands of young people and their opinions in the EU and member states Youth policy making. This contribution will present the development and Framework of the Structured Dialogue process in EU and in the Czech Republic as a case study. It combines basic data analysis of the process till 2015 and open and discuss also the actual questions, limitations, gains, pro and contras.
