Concepts of Marxist tradition, such as class struggle, alienation and imperialism found a special in Latin American universities. They explained national past, especially why we were different from North. From academia, these words gained politics relevance in discourse. We aim that populists converted past, by their use of concepts, in a kind of historicism.
