Abstract

The papers in this panel discuss analytical concepts and current approaches in feminist and gender theory. They explore the status of feminist theorizing in political analysis today, and show how new approaches deal with old questions. Concepts such as heteronormativity, representation, or the autonomous subject as well as new materialism build on feminist traditions and at the same time they demonstrate new directions in gender theory.
