This panel examines the role and uses of artificial intelligence for border management and migration and asylum governance. It discusses the effects of AI technologies on digital bordering policies and human rights, the prospects of studying borders and migration through the lens of AI-generated images, as well as the politics surrounding the development of such migration control digital technologies.
