Abstract

This panel explores leadership and representation within diverse institutions. Papers explore gender representation in the Haitian judiciary; political party candidate portfolios in Spain, Brazil, India, and the United States, and effects on electoral outcomes; gender balanced ministerial leadership in times of polycrisis in Belguim; likelihood of retaining presidencies and prime ministerships for women in democracies 1960-2018; and gender gaps in holding political office among lawyers in the United States.
