Abstract

This panel considers different discourses and narratives in the EU’s relations with the Global South and how the EU has been perceived by its ‘partners’ in the Global South. To do so, it investigates various external policies (i.e. foreign, trade, migration, development) and several case studies across different countries/regions (e.g. Africa, China, India).
