Abstract

This panel looks at states as actors in the shaping and making of European foreign policy, from both an insider and outsider’s perspective. The panel will discuss the role of small states and how this can be conceptualized, look at bigger powers in the EU and their policies on democratization or regulatory policies, look at how narratives play in states’ policy influence and engage with the United Kingdom policies after Brexit.
