This panel looks at political discourses and intersectionality. It combines papers on queerness and the European ‘Union of Equality’, on the discursive construction of hate speech in news media comments, on anti-gender discourse in Italy and on content creators focusing on inclusivity and on transformative activism and identity formation in Poland. By looking at discourses relating to intersectionality from different countries and governance contexts, the panel aims to provide insights into similarities and differences in a comparative perspective.
