Immigration and Federalism

Abstract

In this presentation, Mireille Paquet offers a synthesis of her research on federalism and immigration in Canada, Australia, and the United States, with a comparative view on Europe. She reviews the political processes by which regions and federated units have gained more immigration capacities and documents patterns of subnational policy variation.
