This panel takes a broad perspective on gender equality issues within the European Union, ranging from an analysis of gender mainstreaming in different policy fields, sectors of the economy, neighbouring EU countries and in accession negotiations. It asks if only women+ are target groups of gender equality and how men are integrated into this process as well, looking at instituions of gender equality and care policy and governance.
