Mălina Ciocea is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations, National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA), Bucharest (Romania). She is the coordinator of the CoDiPo (Communication, Discourse, Public Problems) Laboratory, Center for Research in Communication at SNSPA. She has been involved in research grants covering the topics of the Romanian diaspora in media and political discourse, public problems and media debates in the Romanian public sphere, identity and memory studies. She has published several chapters and articles on these topics, among journals such as Journal of Language and Politics, Critical Discourse Studies and National Publics and Transnational Social Fields

Bianca-Florentina Cheregi is Lecturer at the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations, National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA), Bucharest (Romania). She is a member of CoDiPo (Communication, Discourse, Public Problems) Laboratory, Center for Research in Communication. She is a Spiru Haret fellow, with a research project on interactive media campaigns on Romanian migration, awarded with the Best Paper in Arts, Media and Migration at The Migration Conference (Lisbon, 2018). Her research interests lie in the area of migration, nation branding, multimodality, discourse analysis and semiotics. She has published several chapters and articles on these topics, among which: “The New Diaspora” and Interactive Media Campaigns: the Case of Romanians Migrating to the UK after Brexit (Transnational Press London, 2020); The Media Framing of Migration in Sending and Receiving Counties: the Case of Romanians Migrating to the UK (Palgrave MacMillan, 2018); “Let’s Change the Story!” - Nation Branding and Interactive Media Campaigns on Romanian Migration (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2017).

Florența Toader is a Lecturer at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration in Bucharest, Romania. In 2023 she joined the editorial team of the Romanian Journal of Communication and Public Relations. As a researcher she has contributed to migration and diaspora studies through publications and conference presentations, analyzing the negotiation of diasporic identities in political discourse, the discursive (de)legitimization of Ukrainian refugees, and the role of media and social media in shaping public perceptions of migrant communities. She has recently published on this topic in the Journal of Media Research-Rivista de Studii Media.
