We would like to thank over 640 scholars worldwide who joined us in showcasing the very best of political science research at this year’s Virtual Joint Sessions.

We hope that the past two weeks have sparked fruitful discussions, helped expand networks and inspired fresh research ideas.

Our commitment to you

To provide a smooth virtual experience for our participants, we have invested heavily into developing a tailor-made online event platform. 

We also continued making our events accessible to a broader audience, by:

• reducing the Joint Sessions registration fees by up to 60%;
• increasing event participant grants for graduate students and early career scholars from our Full Member Institutions;
• investing £10,000 in our 50th Anniversary Fund supporting those who aren't able to join us just yet;

About our Joint Sessions

The defining event of our organisation with a five-decade history, the Joint Sessions remains one of the major highlights of the world's political science calendar. Each year, it attracts hundreds of scholars from across the globe – at all stages of their career. Comprising around 30 Workshops, each with a closed group of carefully selected participants, topics are precisely defined and discussed intensively for several days.
