I am Assistant Professor / Lecturer at the University of Birmingham and founding co-chair of the ECPR Research Network on Statehood, Sovereignty and Conflict. My research interests span the study of international crisis and conflict management, cross-border transfer of values, norms and practices, and expert knowledge production in challenging environments, including in the context of war and closed political settings as well as in exile.
