Abstract

This paper focuses on the political discourse on environmental issues, in particular the Green Deal, of the main Czech far-right party, the Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD). It examines the SPD's stance on these issues through a framing analysis of the party's election manifestos and communications on its website and social media platforms. The paper also traces the dynamics of the party's attitudes over time and links them to other issues such as migration and security. The SPD is discussed in the broader context of research on right-wing populist parties.
