Millions of Ukrainian citizens found themselves abroad as a result of Russia's aggression, receiving asylum and protection in democratic countries. On the one hand, they integrate into societies that provide them with opportunities for inclusion, and on the other hand, they maintain a connection with the homeland and support it in every way in the confrontation with the enemy. Preserving the identity and cultural code of Ukrainian refugees from the war, promoting their return is an important component of Ukraine's ethnic policy.
