Diverse experience in teaching and learning to support a strategic cooperation

The Teaching and Learning Politics (TLP) Standing Group of the ECPR promotes the teaching and learning in higher education including advancing its recognition among scholars of political science. Its mission is to disseminate information about teaching and learning among ECPR member institutions to level the differences between universities in this area. As part of its activities, the standing group organizes panels for the ECPR general conference, the Euro TLC conference, and a summer school for young scholars. These puts the Standing Group in an excellent position not only to provide expertise for the institutions engaged in creating a strategic cooperation plan for the professionalization of higher education teaching at the national and international levels, but also to become an active participant in that collaboration. We will share our experience and knowledge on teaching and learning as well as on organizing joint events—e.g., conferences—or educational activities such as summer schools, workshops or mentoring, and working with diverse international groups and individuals.
