Strategic cooperation plan at project partner institutions: Improving quality of teaching and learning in Higher Education

Abstract

Pedagogical Competence Development Centre (CERPEK) was established at Masaryk university in 2017 for two main reasons. The first one was the strategic plan of Masaryk University, in which, among other things, there was a requirement to support the quality of teaching. The second reason was evidence-based studies showing the link between the training of academics in pedagogical competences and the quality of teaching. In the paper we discuss our four-year experience focusing on strengths, examples of good practice and challenges that can inspire similar or newly established centers.
