Abstract

Notions of sovereignty, both domestic and geopolitical, posit spatial, social, and authoritative boundaries, and binding relations of power, rights, and contract. This panel examines these boundaries and relationships - perhaps of special significance given the Scottish Independence Referendum due to take place just two weeks after this conference.
