Conference format

The organisers are looking forward to a fully in-person event in Catania. With this in mind, there will be no provision for virtual participation.

Code of Conduct

We think that everyone deserves a positive event experience. Please take a few moments to read our Code of Conduct which outlines our expectations regarding the participants at all our events.

Get ready

Upload your Paper
Uploading your Paper constitutes an agreement for ECPR to publish the Paper on the event app, which will be accessible to all participants.

Please upload your Paper (in PDF and in English) by 21 June so that your fellow participants have time to prepare comments and questions.

  1. Head to My Events in your My ECPR account
  2. Click Full details > View My Registrations > Select My Paper Proposals > Manage Paper > Select your Paper > Upload
  3. Click View Document to ensure that it has been uploaded successfully.

You can also use this facility to replace your Paper or remove it after the event. If you have trouble uploading your Paper, contact our Events Team.

Prep your itinerary

You can access your itinerary through My Events in My ECPR and the event app. Schedule is displayed in local time (Catania, CEST).

  • Plenary events and sessions in which you have a role have been automatically added.
  • Add more sessions to your itinerary by clicking the calendar icon in the schedule.
  • Click the Export to Calendar button in Itinerary to add it directly to your calendar.
Collect your badge

Badges are required to enter the conference rooms. Collect yours at the Registration Desk (Entrance, 2nd Floor, Palazzo Pedagaggi, Department of Political and Social Sciences) from 10:00 on Wednesday 1 July.

The room allocations for all sessions are embedded into the Schedule and are added to your Itinerary.

Notice of photography/filming

Photographers will be taking pictures at various locations on campus during this event. The photographs will be used by ECPR to promote its activities and may be published on the ECPR website, used in digital and email marketing, on social media, and in other promotional materials.

If you do not wish to appear in such photographs, please make yourself known to the photographer or an ambassador in a Catania student T-shirts.
