The SGIR Summer School is open to PhD students, research master's students and advanced master's students from political science, international relations, public administration or related areas. To take part, you must have completed BA courses in political science or international relations.
You will present your own research in the form of a research paper or PhD thesis chapter (6,000 – 8,000 words), and discuss another participant’s paper. In exceptional cases, we may also accept project proposals or research plans.

We will let you know by email whether your application has been successful, after the Academic Convenors have evaluated all applications. You will then need to register and pay for your attendance via the ECPR website (a link will appear when registration opens on Monday 14 May). To register, you need to have a MyECPR account. If you don't already have one, you can create one here.

What does my registration fee cover?
