The University of Bath is recognised as an international centre of research and teaching excellence, achieving global impact through alumni, research and strategic partnerships. Over 15,000 students are currently enrolled in the three faculties and one school that comprise the University.
A number of frequent bus services are available. The U1, U10, U18, X18, 20A and 20C services all start and terminate at the centre of campus, and travel through the city centre. There are a number of popular cycling and walking routes to the University and many taxi companies operate in Bath. Taxi ranks are located in front of the train station, next to the Abbey and at the University itself.
