Abstract

This panel explores questions of representation and participation in citizens’ assemblies with a special focus on digital tools used in participatory processes. Themes featured include the democratic qualities of digital platforms designed for citizen participation and deliberation, the use of digital archives and the deliberative quality of online deliberations. The papers in this panel draw on questions of inclusion, equality and voting rights.
